Siena Poll Shows Bishop Up 13 Points

September 13, 2012

FARMINGVILLE, N.Y.—The Tim Bishop for Congress campaign said today’s Siena Research Institute poll shows that Tea Party outsourcer Randy Altschuler is deeply unpopular in New York’s First Congressional District.

The poll has Congressman Bishop up 13 points over Altschuler (52-39) and shows more voters have an unfavorable view of Altschuler than have a favorable one.

“This poll speaks for itself. We're fewer than eight weeks away from election day, and we'll continue to work hard through Election Day,” Robert Pierce, Bishop for Congress Communications Director said. “Make no mistake, this will be a close race. Altschuler’s extreme Tea Party allies, fellow outsourcing pioneers, and their shadowy SuperPACs have already poured a million dollars into this race in outside spending, and that is surely just the beginning.”
