Francesca Renannon

East Hampton Town Trustee

Francesca has been connected to East Hampton since she was young girl, when her parents built a home in Springs. She has made that home hers since 2009. An avid hiker, she loves exploring the woods, dunes and beaches of our beautiful East End.

Francesca was inspired to run for office because of the Dongan Patent, which empowers the Trustees to protect our public trust. Clean water, coastal conservation and sustainable fisheries are top priorities for Francesca. She will fight to preserve responsible access to our beaches and waters and to protect our precious ecosystems from poisons and invasive species.

Francesca has been a lifelong advocate for the environment: for two decades, she taught workers about workplace hazards; she reported on sustainable business as a journalist; and is host of the radio show Sustainable East End. Francesca is a proud member of East Hampton’s Sustainability Committee.
As Trustee, she will listen to local fishermen, farmers, clean water and clean energy advocates and others to create win-win solutions to our common problems. She will work hard to preserve our public trust for all.

Francesca is endorsed by the Democratic, Working Families and Women’s Equality Parties.
