Carol Quirk

Babylon Town Clerk

Carol Quirk is running for re-election as Babylon Town Clerk. Quirk was appointed Town Clerk in 2008 after serving as Town Councilwoman. As Councilwoman, Quirk served as chairperson to the Parks and Recreation and Veterans Affairs committees. In this role, Quirk initiated an adaptive swim program for children and oversaw the opening of the Phelps Lane Parks complex, two new spray parks and the Tanner Park Bandshell.

As Town Clerk, Carol Quirk has worked to upgrade the Town's technological and archiving systems to better keep track of Town records. Quirk's focus on record maintenance has become crucial following Hurricane Sandy, when many residents lost important documents in the devastation. As Town Clerk, Quirk issues permits and is the Marriage Officer for the Town. She has also worked to supply local seniors with identification cards with emergency and medical information on it.

Carol Quirk lives in Deer Park with her husband. They have three sons.
