Join Councilwoman Anissa Moore and the City of Long Beach as we celebrate the contributions of African Americans through literature and song. This is an open mic event where residents will have the opportunity to perform poetry, short fiction readings, acoustic music performances and monologues from Black writers, poets and authors.
