Margaret Friedlander has been a resident of Hampton Bays since 1992 and is a proponent of nature-based toxic free land care practices and native planting to preserve biodiversity and as a form of environmental stewardship to help keep our drinking water, ground water, and waterways clean.

Fact-based research powers her passion for environmental stewardship and an authentic appreciation of our marine environment. She is deeply committed to collaboratively identifying and implementing existing and innovative solutions to combat the many environmental challenges facing residents of Southampton.

Her 20+ years of experience working with global advertising and marketing agencies, her prior role as the Hampton Bays Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) Secretary and Chairperson, and informed community involvement provide her with the collaborative, strategic, creative, and fiscal skill sets required as a Southampton Town Trustee.

It isn’t every day that a person with demonstrated community spirit and proven ability decides to stand for election.
