Nick Krupski

A. Nicholas Krupski current Vice President and incumbent to the Southold Town Trustees was born and raised in Cutchogue. He currently resides on the family farm where he has been working alongside his father and late grandfather for many years.

Nick attended SUNY Cortland where he earned a Bachelors in Geology and Environmental Science. He went on to LIU where he earned his Masters in Biology and education.

Following an internship in his sophomore year of undergraduate study Nick began full time at Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Marine Program where he focused on shellfish and marine habitat restoration. During this time Nick also worked for multiple consulting firms diving at Superfund sites throughout the country measuring groundwater influx assisting in remediation efforts.

I have proudly served the last seven years protecting Southold’s greatest assets.

Currently employed at Brookhaven National Laboratory and serving in his 8th year as a Southold Town Trustee, Nick splits his time between working the farm and enjoying the creeks and beaches with his wife and two daughters.

Some notable accomplishments have been working with living shorelines, sitting on the aquaculture lease program review committee, pushing for more practicable code changes to assist in the preservation of Southold’s waterfront as well as educating the public in balanced environmental best practices.

Nick looks forward to serving Southold for another four years maintaining his steadfast commitment to balancing waterfront access with environmental sustainability.
