For 28 years, I had the honor of serving the people of the State of New York as a State Trooper, adhering to the State Police vision “To serve, protect and defend the people while preserving the rights and dignity of all”.
My wife Sandra and I have been married for 25 years. We raised our three children here in Nesconset on Long Island. Family has always been the most important value to us; but we have work to do to make this a great place to raise future generations.
Since we purchased our home in Nesconset 25 years ago, we’ve seen our property taxes triple. I believe that we can find and correct the inefficiencies in government and increase the tax base by attracting more businesses and highly skilled workers to our area to stop these out of control taxes.
We need to make sure that our children can receive the best education in the country, that we attract and retain the most dedicated and effective teachers, and provide a safe environment for our students and residents, all while staying below the property tax cap.
During my career as a State Trooper, I have worked in numerous and various assignments within the State Police including patrol, the search/recovery efforts at Ground Zero and TWA Flight 800, K9 handler and Protective Services Unit. I have also served as the Troop L union delegate, Secretary and 2nd Vice President/Legislative Director within the New York State Troopers Police Benevolent Association. I have a unique understanding, appreciation and know the importance of strong unions.
