Maxima has lived in the Brentwood community for twenty-four years, and will bring over 27 years of accounting experience to her position as Receiver of Taxes. Maxima is a member of the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, the Brentwood Historical Society, and the Islip Chapter of the NAACP. She currently works for the Child Care Council of Suffolk, and is the host of the Women of Destiny television show.
Maxima is passionate about improving her Town and helped found the Brentwood Gardens Community Organization and the Brentwood Community Garden, and has worked with Brentwood Concerned Citizens for Change, New York Communities for Change, and Make the Road NY. Maxima has raised three children in Brentwood with her husband, and is the proud grandmother of three children.
