Juan Miceli-Martinez is a life-long, East End resident, who owns a home in Downtown Riverhead. His parents were hard-working; Mom a union factory worker at Trutech and Dad, a postal worker both in Riverhead.
Juan attended SUNY Binghamton earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Biology and Psychology. During senior year, he developed a love and interest in wine. This curiosity would be the seed that would start his twenty-year craft beverage journey.
Juan’s longest time in the Wine Industry was with Martha Clara Vineyards. He was the General Manager and winemaker from 2010-18. He now works with Premium Wine Group in Mattituck, consults, and started his own wine brand, Montauk Daisy, with his wife, Bridget.

President of Harvest East End
Member of the East End Tourism Alliance
Member of the Downtown Revitalization Committee
Member of the Production Team for the AFTEE and FOLD music festivals
His main priorities are:
Preservation of our rural character and agricultural heritage
Accountability and responsible spending of tax dollars
Strategic and sustainable revitalization of Downtown
Advocating for clean waters and environment now and for future generations
Working for the entire community
