Jason Zove

NYS Assembly (8th AD)

I want to thank you for taking an interest in my candidacy. We are in the process of launching a grassroots, multifaceted approach, and I cannot stress enough how vital your support is to a victory in November.

I am honored to have the opportunity to run for New York State’s Eighth Assembly District and promise to bring leadership and fresh bold ideas to the residents of this district and all of Long Island.

My passion for public policy has grown while serving as a Community Liaison and Legislative Aide in the Suffolk County Legislature since 2010, working for Presiding Officer William J. Lindsay followed by current Legislator Bill Lindsay III. My top priority has been constituent service and my efforts and commitment to public service have never wavered.

I will be a representative who will listen to the residents, understand what their interests and needs are, and identify the solutions to help them. I will work together with my colleagues on both sides of the political aisle to make Long Island more affordable for all residents.

The success of Long Island is vital to the success of New York State and we must set the bar high to ensure that our state is a leader in economic growth, environmental sustainability and a place where our children have the resources to excel.

I want to continue living on Long Island and raise a family here. I completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education and History at Hofstra University and earned my Master’s Degree at SUNY Stony Brook.

My background in education and active involvement with the day-to-day operations of government will serve me well as I work to make the New York State Assembly more transparent and fight to cut government red tape so that local business owners and families can stay on Long Island.

I look forward to working together to help our dreams become a reality. Please feel free to contact me at any time if I can be of any help to you.
