Help us to bring the strength of the international and national #MeToo movement to our local area uniting legislative, business, non-profit and cultural organizations working towards building greater support for the safety and empowerment for all women and girls, as well as the issues that affect women and girls living and working on Long Island.

Founder of the #MeToo Movement, Tarana Burke, has worked with young people and victims of sexual abuse for over 25 years. Promoting empowerment through empathy, the #MeToo movement triggered a national outcry over sexual assault and harassment this year. In fact, Time Magazine named the Silence Breakers as their 2017 Person of the Year.

We are truly grateful to be able to bring the leader of this movement with her experience, her powerful voice and her strength to Long Island, as we work to strengthen our community's commitment to standing with all women and girls.

Tickets are FREE, but we are asking for a minimum $25 donation to help defray the costs associated with this event

In order to ensure that we have a space large enough for all attendees, we will be finalizing the exact campus location in the coming weeks. We will email you the location after you rsvp.
