Liuba Grechen Shirley of NY’s 2nd District Democrats - Liuba Grechen Shirley manages the group NY’s 2nd District Democrats, which recently met with Congressman Peter King regarding his lack of a public town hall this recess among other issues.

LaKeytria Felder of Federal Defenders of New York, Inc. - LaKeytria Felder is a federal public defender representing people who cannot afford a lawyer in federal criminal cases. She handles a variety of criminal cases, of which the most pertinent cases for our discussion are related to immigration offenses. She will be discussing the Know Your Rights campaign, an educational/informational presentation for immigrant communities.

Christine Pellegrino of Long Island Activists - Formerly Long Island for Bernie Sanders, Long Island Activists is a grassroots action-oriented group fighting for progressive policy at the local, state, and national level.

Mariana Pineda of the Long Island Progressive Coalition - Originally founded in 1979, The Long Island Progressive Coalition stands for decent and affordable housing and health care, taxation in accordance with ability to pay, decent and well-paying jobs, an environment that is not toxic to people or animals, respect for individual differences, a clean, safe and attractive community, a representative government truly of, by and for the people.
