David Lys

East Hampton Town Council

As the son of an immigrant and a dedicated East Hampton schoolteacher, I learned to work hard and savor the beauty and diversity of our community. I attended John Marshall, the Middle School and East Hampton High School, graduating Class of 1994. Throughout my 42 years, I have been molded by the traditions and values that my family, neighbors, teachers, and friends, bestowed upon me.

Rachel and I have made our home in Springs with our four young daughters aged eleven to 15 months. Together we own and operate two local businesses, East Hampton Physical Therapy in downtown Montauk and East Hampton Kayak & Fitness. So I know firsthand the every day struggles working families face.

Susan McGraw Keber

East Hampton Town Trustee

Susan has spent most of her life on the East End, moving to East Hampton almost 40 years ago with her husband to make East Hampton a home and raise their son. Susan acquired an active relationship with and knowledge of the outdoors and environmental concerns having spent summers in Maine as a youth.

Francesca Renannon

East Hampton Town Trustee

Francesca has been connected to East Hampton since she was young girl, when her parents built a home in Springs. She has made that home hers since 2009. An avid hiker, she loves exploring the woods, dunes and beaches of our beautiful East End.

Francesca was inspired to run for office because of the Dongan Patent, which empowers the Trustees to protect our public trust. Clean water, coastal conservation and sustainable fisheries are top priorities for Francesca. She will fight to preserve responsible access to our beaches and waters and to protect our precious ecosystems from poisons and invasive species.

Francesca has been a lifelong advocate for the environment: for two decades, she taught workers about workplace hazards; she reported on sustainable business as a journalist; and is host of the radio show Sustainable East End. Francesca is a proud member of East Hampton’s Sustainability Committee.
As Trustee, she will listen to local fishermen, farmers, clean water and clean energy advocates and others to create win-win solutions to our common problems. She will work hard to preserve our public trust for all.

Francesca is endorsed by the Democratic, Working Families and Women’s Equality Parties.

Rick Drew

East Hampton Town Trustee

Virtually every free moment of Rick Drew’s life has been spent on the waters of Eastern Long Island. He is passionate about fishing and as a young man earned his first paychecks hard clamming and scalloping.

Dell Cullum

East Hampton Town Trustee

Dell Cullum was born and raised in Amagansett. He spent his early years enjoying the local beaches, for both recreation and also for watching the haulseiners work. His connection to the baymen came from growing up with their children. Cullum always felt the baymen trade was part of the heritage and history of East Hampton Town, particularly in Amagansett. From long walks on the beaches of Montauk with his grandmother as a child, to his long time admiration for the beauty of Lazy Point and Napeague, this town has always been special in his heart.

Cullum also has an equal compassion for the local wildlife. Spending the last 30 years in business humanely removing and relocating wildlife in six states, and as a professional photographer. He also volunteers his service for wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and education, where he shows folks how to co-exist with wildlife, rather than feel the need to eliminate it. Cullum also produces and hosts a television show called Imagination Nature, that is in it’s 4th year.

Because of his love for both the beaches and the wildlife, it’s no surprise that Dell Cullum became such an advocate against the trash and litter that plagues our beautiful town. In 2014, Cullum created the annual Shoreline Sweep event where each April the community comes together to clean almost 50 miles of shoreline, of both the north and south shores of East Hampton Town, from Wainscott to Montauk Point. The success of the annual event, prompted Dell to create the equally successful Napeague Sweep and the Sunday Morning Summer Beach Clean Up Club.

Cullum remains dedicated to wildlife, the environment, eradicating litter in East Hampton, and supporting the baymen and their families. These are his objectives from sunrise to sunset, each and every day.

Dell is endorsed by the Democratic Party.
