Brookhaven

Mike Goodman

Brookhaven Town Council (2nd District)

I was born and raised in Brookhaven by two veterans who met in the army and taught me the value of hard work, discipline, and education. I worked at numerous places - my father's glass company, grocery stores, and warehouses - until I decided to teach myself programming and climb my way to become a software engineer and start my own small tech business.

You may have noticed a lack of politics there. For sure, I am not a career politician. My political "career" began during the 2016 primaries when I ran the Brookhaven office for Bernie Sanders, a man who I supported because I care more about issues and solutions than I do about politics and parties, and because I respected his sincerity and hard work.

Jack Harrington

Town Supervisor

I grew up in Brookhaven Town and returned years ago to raise my own family. I am running for Town Supervisor because I want my son to be as proud as I am to call this place home. Our town needs strong, principled, and effective leadership with a long-term plan for our future. I need your help to defend middle-class families, protect our environment, and bring high-paying jobs back to our community.

Jason Kontzamanys

Brookhaven Highway Superintendent

I have been working in the Town of Brookhaven parks department for a decade, but I decided to run against Republican incumbent Highway Superintendent Dan Losquadro in November because of the overuse of subcontracting.

Although this is my first time running for office, I know my years of service in Brookhaven town will make a difference, as well as boost morale in the highway department.

In addition to my tenure working for the Town of Brookhaven, I also was born and raised in the community. I recently graduated from Dowling College where I earned my Master's Degree in Education.

Doug Dittko

Brookhaven Town Supervisor

A 23 year resident of Manorville, Doug Dittko has done much to preserve open space, stop down zoning and ensure that the town adheres to its ratified Hamlet Studies.

As a Certified Purchasing Manager who has worked in the defense industry for 10 years with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Hofstra University, Doug has keen negotiation skills and demands accountability in all phases of project proposals by the Brookhaven Town Board and Planning Board. Doug frequents Town Board and Planning Board meetings, and has established a discourse with town and planning board members.

Amy Keyes

Brookhaven Town Council (5th District)

Amy Keyes was born in Patchogue, where she was raised with her two sisters by her parents, Peggy and Joe. Amy graduated from Patchogue-Medford High School in 2002, and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Stony Brook University.

Constance Kepert

Brookhaven Town Council (4th District)

Prior to being elected, she demonstrated her dedication to the community for more than 18 years through her active participation in civic affairs and in various leadership roles, including president of the Affiliated Brookhaven Civic Organization, President of the Longwood Alliance, and President of the Middle Island Civic Association.
